Swift Current City Council will get a little bit of culture today.
Anthea Loran will participate in the Mayor's Poetry Challenge: A Celebration of Poetry, Writing and Publisher, and will read a poem at tonight's meeting.
A delegation from Central School will attent to proclaim "Vote Central School Week." They're competing in the Majesta Trees of Knowledge Campaign with an online vote that could win them 20,000 dollars for an outdoor classroom.
There will be a few reports on the mill rate, the city's boundaries and Inner City Housing agreements, and the Fire Department addresses their annual report.
