The City of Swift Current has launched a new Snow Hotline.
Public Works Manager Greg Parsons says the start of the hotline stems from some significant snow and ice problems over the last few winters.
“Phone calls keep coming in and we don't maybe get to them right away or we can't handle the volume of calls so this way we set this up to try to help facilitate everyone's requests.”
Parsons says residents can call the hotline and leave a message reporting a issue with snow and ice, and crews will try to get to those areas as soon as they can.
The Snow Hotline number is 778-1625.
