A very popular program to help local non-profit organizations is back for another year.

Applications are now open for Community Support Grants from the City of Swift Current and Saskatchewan Lotteries, to help organizations providing sport, culture and recreation programs to city residents.

"It's an amazing opportunity to help promote and foster sport and culture within our community," says City Recreation and Scheduling Superintendent Nicole Peno who adds that each year up to 80 local groups benefit from the funding, which comes from lottery proceeds in Saskatchewan.

You can apply before February 14th at 4:30pm by calling the City Rec and Parks Department at 778-2787, or by clicking here .
