The results of the community's support

After all was weighed in, over 9000 lbs of food will help stock the shelves of our local food bank.

Captain Michael Ramsay with the Salvation Army was pleased to see the community step up in a large fashion.

"It'll go a long way to helping out in the food bank and even getting us prepared for the Christmas season," Ramsay said. "Just seeing the expression on the face of all those teenagers having a good time doing something for the community is such a blessing."

Church youth groups, Legionnaires hockey players, and participants in a zombie walk all worked together to collect food on Halloween night.

Christmas season is coming up and the Miracle Room kick off is November 19th. It will be located in the Swift Current Mall.
