Students perform at last years All That Jazz Event
The Swift Current Comprehensive High school Music Department will once again be hosting "All That Jazz", an evening of Jazz and swing music, this weekend.
Comp Band Director Aaron Thinglestad said the event has been happening for 18 years and this year they'll be throwing in something new
“We were trying to come up with some new ideas and one of the things that came about was the idea of doing a swing dance linked to the music were playing. So we programed over 40 pieces of music and I found a couple people to do a basic swing dance lesson for those people that purchased tickets for the event.”
A few tickets are still available at Creative Video downtown. All that Jazz begins at the Comp Cafetorium at 7pm on Saturday.
