Canada Post is trying to clean up the mess left by a computer virus over the last week, and a virus disguised as a Canada Post delivery notice is causing the problem.
The email appears to be an official message and says they've tried to leave a package at your house but have missed you. However, the post office doesn't issue email notices and the message will give your computer a virus.
In case of a missed package, Canada Post will leave a card or notice in your mailbox.
Anyone who receives the email is asked to simply delete it.
