A vehicle fire at a local motel had fire fighters out earlier today.

Swift Current Fire Department confirm that they responded in the early morning hours to an oilfield truck in flames outside the Caravel Motel.

The fire was quickly extinguished, however the vehicle was destroyed.

No other damage was reported.
