Swift Current is set to take part in its first ever Culture Days this weekend.
The cross canada event is celebrating its second year, raising awareness and participation of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
Cultural festival cooridinator Shann Gowan believes the festival is the perfect opportunity to experience things you may not normally participate in, with no charge for any of the events taking place throughout the weekend.
The official kick off for culture days happens at 12:00 pm today at Innovation Credit Union, you can find a complete list of events planned for Swift Current by searching "Swift Current Culture Days" on Facebook.
