Cypress Heath Region Purchases New Equipment

The Cypress Health Region is making it easier for residents to connect to other learning experiences.

CEO Beth Vachon said they've purchased what's called a telehealth end point. “They need to have access to have to some of the telehealth equipment that brings in their courses and their ability to join into rounds that are taking place at other hospitals and it's a good opportunity for them to participate from a distance.”

Vachon adds the purcahse was made with the support of the Univeristy of Saskatchewan's college of medicine, “With the support from the college of medicine we have been able to purchase another unit that we can dedicate just for students and our staff as far as uprading training and being able to participate at a distance that are happening around the province or the country.”
