The Saskatchewan New Democrats are one step closer to finding a new leader, after Dwain Lingenfelter stepped down following last year's provincial election campaign.
A Leadership Convention date has been announced for March 9th, 2013, with the campaign period officially opening this September.
The NDP will use a one-member, one-vote process to select the new leader, and anyone with a vaild NDP membership will be allowed to vote. The entry fee will remain at $6,000 for candidates with a maximum spending limit of $200,000 per candidate.
The convention will be held at TCU Place in Saskatoon.
