The Eastend Light Horse Show is a popular part of Dino Days.

 

Come celebrate this weekend in the community of Eastend.

It's not only the 103rd anniversary of the Town, but also their big Dino Days celebrations all weekend.

On Saturday July 22nd come out to the Pancake Breakfast at the Rink Complex starting at seven thirty a.m.

From ten until noon at the Town Square you can get an ice cream float while you wait for the Parade, Celebrating Canada Our Home, which begins at eleven a.m.

There's also lots of family activities planned at the T Rex Discovery Center from ten a.m. until six p.m.

The first ever "Taste of Eastend" as well an an Outdoor Market will be happening as well at the Town Square. And the day will finish off with live music by Highway 13 at the Cypress Hotel.

Rosa Vazquez is the Director of Tourism and Economic Development for the Town of Eastend. She says, "And then on the 23rd of July (Sunday) we have the Light Horse Show. They have competition programs that involve everything from barrel riding and the kids costumes is always so much fun. And we will close with an Interdenominational Church Service at the United Church"

The Light Horse Show begins at eight a.m. at the Rodeo Grounds. And the Church Service will get underway at eleven a.m.
