Jamie Butts with the new Drop and Go Center now in use at Sarcan.

Two Sarcan Recycling Depots in the southwest have a new feature called A Drop and Go Center available for use.

Sarcan Depots in Shaunavon, and in Gull Lake, both have had the new system installed since the beginning of June.

Jamie Butts is the Supervisor at the Shaunavon Sarcan Depot. He says, "See, what you do is you set up an account and then once you have an account you can bring your bags or boxes of stuff and you just sign in to your account and tell the machine how  many bags you have and it will print out tags. You can set the bags off to the side, and we'll count them and you can receive your funds in either PayPal or by cheque."

Butts says the new feature is working well so far in Shaunavon with some people already signed up.

You can, of course, still drop off your bottles and can the usual way if you prefer.

The new Drop and Go Center is available during regular business hours at the Sarcan Recycling Depots in Shaunavon and in Gull Lake.
