The cover for the play Darkhorse Theatre is putting on

Darkhorse Theatre of Shaunavon is helping the local Elks Club fix their roof.

They are hosting a "Rippin the Roof Off" Pub Weekend fundraiser this Thursday, Friday and Saturday,

“This spring performance actually the entertainment portion of the fundraiser for the Elks Hall which is where Dark Horse usually puts on their spring production," said actor and director Dianne Greenlay. "The hall is in need of great need of repairs for the roof. This spring performance is entitled Rippin the Roof Off Pub Night Fundraisers For The Elks Hall"

Greenlay filled us in on the plot for the play being performed for the fundraiser "Sexy Laundry"

“It is the story of Alice and Henry. Alice decides they need a little more spicing up in their life so she has booked a hotel room for them for the weekend. Henry is delighted because he has a flat screen TV that's got a split screen, he's got a couple of remotes and he thinks this is going to be wonderful. Alice, on the other hand, has signed a book out from the library entitled 'Sex For Dummies' and she is intent on working her way through it for the weekend chapter by chapter.”
