Students in Shaunavon now have a place to go to get extra help with school work, to study or to do their homework.

The drop in Homework Help Program offers students of all ages extra help Thursdays after school until five p.m.

Cindy Willms is the Program  Coordinator. She talked about why she started the program. "I'm a teacher by trade, and so I was thinking, well, what could I do to use some of my skills to hep some of the kids in Shaunavon. And some others came alongside and said that they would help with the tutoring."

The Program is free of charge and is help in The Library at The Grand Coteau Heritage and Culture Center.

Willms says they do not give out extra work or homework, but are just there to help.
