Police are investigating the fatal crash that took the life of a 22-year-old Swift Current man.
A boat detached from the truck that was carrying it on Highway 43 near Vanguard and ran into a van coming in the opposite direction.
The passenger of the van was killed and the driver taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Ponteix RCMP are not giving anymore details at this time as they await the results of their investigation. Police said the traffic reconstruction team is working on the incident.
The victims' names have still not yet been officially released.
