The final performance in the Stars for Saskatchewan Concert Series happens tonight in Shaunavon.
Shaunavon Arts Council President, Terry Shields, explains “We've got Susie Vinnick coming in, a blues performer, performing at the Centre Street United Church at 7:30 on Monday.”
Vinnick is a Juno and Canadian Folk Music Award nominee and five time Maple Blues Award winner and her performance will feature material from her 2009 Juno nominated album Happy Here.
Shields adds that they are already hard at work on their next series of performances, “Our new concert series is going to be starting up in the fall so that the first concert will be in October. We're looking forward to the mix of performers that we're going to have next year.”
