Fire ban lifted at Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park

Recent rainfall in the southwest has allowed the Ministry of Environment to lift a fire ban at Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park that had been in place for the last week.

The ban on open fires and travel restrictions were put in place on August 24th.

There are no active provincial fire bans in Saskatchewan, but residents are asked to check with local municipalities and R-Ms to find out if they have any restrictions in place.
