With the flu virus already starting to make it's rounds this season, it's important to protect yourself with a flu shot.

Clinics are set to begin this Wednesday, starting at the Swift Current Mall and are once again free to Saskatchewan residents.

Dr. David Torr is the Medical Health Officer for the Health Region and says this year's vaccine focuses on several strains of the virus, including the H1N1 strain.

Torr also recommends individuals over the age of 65, under the age of 4, or with other high risk factors get their flu shot.
