The Town of Shaunavon's Interim Bylaw Officer is reminding residents to respectfully adhere to the town's bylaws.

Bonnie Lingenfelter says there are a number of areas of concern that she will be watching for, including licensing dogs and cats three months of age and older, and not allowing pets to run at large.

As far as traffic bylaws, she says there are a number of things that residents need to remember.

No parking vehicles within five meters of any street intersection or fire hydrant, no parking vehicles facing the opposite direction of the flow of traffic, and vehicles cannot be parked on any roadway at one place for a period of time exceeding 72 consecutive hours.

She adds, "Vehicles are not allowed to make a left hand turn between intersections. So, if you're going north up Center Street, don't left hand turn - go park on the opposite side."
