It has already been a deadly weekend on Saskatchewan roads, with four people killed in three separate traffic collisions since Friday evening.

At around 6:45pm Friday, a pickup truck collided with a semi northeast of Harris. The 81-year-old man from the Harris area driving the pickup died of his injuries in a Saskatoon Hospital. The man driving the semi suffered unknown injuries.

Another accident occured west of Neilburg at around 4:40am Saturday morning. An 18-year-old man from Marsden died when he was ejected from his pickup after it rolled on Highway 40. A male passenger was sent to hospital.

And a 19- and 20-year-old man from Sturgis both died when the pickup they were in lost control and rolled Saturday morning on Highway 47 near Preeceville, and five more people are in hospital with undetermined injuries. In that collision, apparently no seatbelts were used and alcohol is believed to be a factor.

The names of all the victims have not been released. RCMP are continuing to investigate the incidents.
