Four people were in Swift Current Provincial Court today on drug-trafficking charges. All four defendants, who are in custody, had their cases pushed back.

Travis Lozowchuk was in custody after initially getting bail but he had a breach. He's remanded in custody until April 18.

Lozowchuk is charged with trafficking fentanyl and cocaine, as well as criminal negligence causing bodily harm after someone had a medical emergency because of a fentanyl/cocaine mix.

Initially Lozowchuk was on a 24-hour curfew with an electronic monitor.

One man arrested after a police raid in late 2016, Andre Descoteaux, also was remanded in custody until April 18. He faces charges in Alberta as well as Saskatchewan, and there is a plea bargain being worked out.

Marley Cook, whose charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm, was remanded until next Wednesday. And Sheldon Keith, whose charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a weapon (baseball bat) will likely have a show-cause hearing to see whether he gets bail on March 28. Cook and Keith were arrested together.
