Due to issues with one of the Town of Frontier's water wells, they are asking residents to please do their best to conserve water.

Frontier Mayor, Brady Berg, says about a month ago the Town pulled the well pump to replace the pump and motor. "When we fixed it we did not tape the wires well enough going up the well. They weren't taped good enough going up the well and they're starting to slip back in and they're shorting out on the top of the well. We're having to pull the [pump] again to re-fasten the wires."

Berg adds that the work could take up to 10 days to complete and says that if the water level in the cistern becomes too low, they will not be compliant with their fire protection standards. If they go below the threshold service could possibly be suspended in order to maintain proper levels.
