No one wants to hear the "f-word" at this time of year, but parts of the southwest were at a risk of frost last night.

Frost warnings were in place for the Shaunavon, Maple Creek, Val Marie and Cypress Hills areas, with temperatures dipping to around zero overnight. Environment Canada said the areas most at risk of getting patchy frost were colder valley locations.

The warning has now ended, and the good news is, things should be much warmer for the rest of the weekend.
