The funeral for Andrea Conroy, the victim of a murder-suicide in Alberta, will be held this weekend in Swift Current.
The 33-year-old single mother was found dead in her Airdrie home last Friday, and police suspected her ex-boyfriend Rick Doucette of killing her. Doucette was found dead in a motel room in Nanton, Alberta the next day.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30pm from Trailview Alliance Church, and friends have set up a trust fund for Andrea's daughter Danielle at the RBC Royal Bank King's Heights Branch in Airdrie, and other fundraisers are being held to support Danielle and Airdrie and District Victim Assistance.
