Residents of Ponteix will gather this afternoon to remember a prominent member of their community.
Father Raymond Carignan died in a tragic car accident on Boxing Day, when his car collided with another vehicle in icy road conditions on Highway 13 near Kincaid.
He was 69 years old.
Father Carignan's funeral mass will be held at the Notre Dame D'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix at 1:00 pm.
