Great Plains College has a new president.
David Keast will take over for Bruce Probert who held the position on an interim basis since last November.
"It's great to have David on board," said Chair of Great Plains College, Brian Shygera. "David brings to us a wealth of knowledge. He has had quite a few years in post-secondary experience, and I think that's going to bode well for the College. David is very forward thinking. We believe that he's got great leadership skills. He's a good listener. I think he'll work well with all of our college people to move the College along."
Keast was the Director of the Edmonton Campus of the University of Lethbridge for the last two years and also spent time as Dean of Career Programs at Portage College in Lac La Biche, Alberta.
He will assume his duties on July 1st.
