Swift Current RCMP are investigating a targeted theft of a number of firearms in Swift Current over the weekend.

Police say someone broke into a home on the 200 block of 2nd Ave NE and stole guns from a cabinet.

Meanwhile, there were two separate incidents of graffiti spray painting on Saturday.

A business in the 800 block of N, Railway E and a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1600 block of Ashley Drive were damaged.

Police say the incidents appear to done by the same individual(s) using the same paint and tags.

Swift Current Rural RCMP are looking into an incident that occured sometime between March19th at about 5pm and the morning of March 20th.

Someone caused damage to “You Name It Crafts” located on the Trans Canada Highway at Tompkins.

Several windows were broken with small hexagon nuts. The nuts were propelled at the windows with enough force to go through the outer pane of glass, but not the inner pane. There were six windows damaged.
