Teachers from the SCCHS had their heads shaved as part of a fundraiser for Austin Gerlach.
Several staff and students at the Swift Current Comp. High School took a little off the top for one of their own this afternoon.
Four of the school's shop teachers and members of the student body shaved their heads following a fundraiser that raised $3000 for local student, Austin Gerlach.
Trampus Lacelle was one of the teachers who helped organize the fundraiser and says it was a worthwhile cause, stating they originally started with a goal of $2000, but saw that quickly exceeded.
Gerlach was recently diagnosed and currently battling cancer.
