Health Region Trying Eden Training

Staff and family members in the Cypress Health Region's long term care are being given "Eden training."

"It really is a philosophy of trying to provide as home-like an environment in long term care settings as we can," said Cypress Health Region CEO Beth Vachon. "We've sent some people initially off for training, they brought back the information and are pretty excited about what this could mean."

The Health Region has been looking at how they could strengthen their long term care.

Fifty staff and family representatives are starting out with the Eden training this month.
