Gravelbourg
The town of Gravelbourg is celebrating higher quality drinking water Friday.
Representatives from the federal, provincial and municipal government's, Sask Water and nearby residents are gathered in Gravelbourg to celebrate the completion of upgrades to the town's water treatment plant.
A $6.4 million renovation including a new state-of-the-art filtration system was part of a combined effort through the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund, the Governments of Canada and SaskWater.
The upgrades will permit the plant to conform to provincial drinking water standards, and households will now have access to higher quality drinking water.
