The leaders made more promises today on the campaign trail.

Brad Wall announced that a new $10,000 first-time homebuyers tax credit would be introduced if the Saskatchewan Party is re-elected on November 7th, saying they want to help more Saskatchewan individuals and families be able to afford to own their first home. The cost of the tax credit would be 6.6 million dollars per year.

Meanwhile, NDP leader Dwain Lingenfelter announced his party would eliminate the two percent small business tax if his party forms government. Losing the tax would cost 64 million dollars a year, but Lingenfelter says that small businesses employ one-third of all people working in Saskatchewan.
