Hospital Service Disruption in Maple Creek

Another disruption of service at a local hospital, but this time in Maple Creek.

Emergency services and acute inpatient admissions won't be available at the Maple Creek Hospital during the following hours:

• Monday April 9^th from 2:00 pm – Tuesday April 10^th @ 7:00 am
  
  
• Tuesday, April 10^th from 5:00 pm – Wednesday April 11^th @ 7:00 am

Maple Creek joins the Shaunavon Hospital which is facing a disruption from 7pm tonight to 7:30 tomorrow morning.

The Maple Creek disruption is caused by physician on-call unavailability. Locum physician services that were previously scheduled were not available at the last moment due to physician illness.

Shaunavon's disruption is because of a lack of registered nursing staff.
