The Town of Shaunavon  has planted about 12 Green Ash trees at Jubilee Park.

These trees will fill a space, vacant up until now, and improve the look of the Park as Ron Phillips, Director of Operations for the Town of Shaunavon explains, "Just to make it a little more inviting so it's not such a bare landscape. We love trees in town and that's kinda the direction Council wants to go, is we're gonna be planting a few more trees around here and there this year."

Phillips says trees will be planted around the compost pile, and they will be moving some trees from behind the rink to the new campground, then re-planting some where they moved those ones from.

The trees planted at Jubilee Park cost just over $100 each.
