Barring a signed deal by Tuesday morning, it appears that members of the Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan will be hitting the picket lines following the long weekend.

That announcement being made in Saskatoon shortly after 11:00 this morning, after HSAS executive met earlier this morning to discuss their options, following a breakdown in talks between the union and the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations.

Still no word on if job action will be full scale or on a rotational basis, more details are expected to be released at 11:00 Tuesday morning.

Locally, the Cypress Health Region has set up a strike information line to provide 24 hour, up to date information at 778-5128, and all services will continue to operate as usual in the meantime.
