A positive decision came for Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall today, after US President Trump took steps this morning to approve the previously blocked Keystone XL pipeline project.

The line will cover 1,897 km starting in Hardisty Alberta and going south to Steele City Nebraska and is designed to move Canadian oil across the border to American refineries.

A portion of the pipeline will extend through the southwest corner of Saskatchewan and is expected to create jobs and significant economic activity in the area.

Below is the Premier's Facebook post from earlier today.
