May is designated as KidSport Month all across Saskatchewan, and the KidSport Committee in Shaunavon is celebrating throughout the entire month.
KidSport is a kids charity that provides financial assistance to families with children who wish to take part in organized sports.
You can get your company involved in their Kompany for Kids program which allows your employees to dress down in exchange for a donation. The committee will also be holding their annual Hot Dog Sale later in the month, and all of the money raised in the fundraiser will stay in the community.
Shaunavon's KidSport committee approved 25 applications last year totalling just over $5300. Applications for assistance are available from the committee or you can get one on the Provincial KidSport website.
