The Town of Shaunavon will be offering free pick up of live Christmas trees next week.

Ron Phillips, the Director of Operations for the Town of Shaunavon, says, "Pick up for real Christmas trees will be January 17th. You put your Christmas trees out by your garbage can, in the back alley or in the front  depending where you're at. Wherever your garbage can is usually put for regular pick up, put your Christmas tree in that location and we will pick it up that day."

Residents are reminded to please be sure that your tree is not blocking the lane when you put it out.

Anyone who would like to dispose of their live Christmas tree themselves should take it to the Regional Landfill.
