Saskatchewan's own League of Wolves is getting ready to make it big.

The band is playing tonight in Swift Current with an event they're calling Rockquinox. The event features music from both Leauge of Wolves and music from the Moonrunners. All money raised from the show will go towards helping the band realize their dream- from here, they're off to Toronto to record with some of the best names in Canadian music.

"We're planning on going to Noble Street Studios in Toronto to record it with Gavin Brown," said Dillon Currie, frontman for the band. "He's a good producer, he's worked with the Tragically Hip and Billy Talent and Metric, so we're trying to raise funds to make that possible."

The concert event also features a fundraising auction with items donated by local businesses. Currie says that the band is looking forward to performing in Swift Current again.

"Our last release was last spring, and that was the last time we've played in Swift Current, I think," he said."It's exciting to finally be close to recording it. We should be heading out there at the end of Spring, is the plan, as long as our fundraising goes well"

Rockqinox takes place tonight at Walker Place. The show will start at 8 p.m.
