Massey Place MLA Cam Broten spoke at Friday's Swift Current Constituency NDP Fundraising Banquet
While the Federal Election is just a couple of days away, the focus will soon turn to November's Provincial Election.
The Swift Current Constituency NDP held their annual Fundraising Banquet last night at the First United Church Gym. Saskatoon Massey Place MLA Cam Broten was the guest speaker, and talked about how the New Democrats need to focus on providing real, positive alternatives for Saskatchewan.
The Swift Current Constituency, held by Premier Brad Wall, may be difficult for the NDP to win in November, but Broten says they have a tremendous group of motivated and dedicated volunteers on the ground, and thinks its all about providing real alternatives and speaking to the needs of constituents, including housing and healthcare.
