A petition blitz is being held tomorrow at Smart Flowers in Swift Current to gather names for the Saskatchewan Film Industry’s petition to ask the Saskatchewan Government to work with industry partners to create a new incentive program to replace the Saskatchewan Film Employment Tax Credit.
Names are being gathered in larger centres too as supporters in Regina and Saskatoon will be going door to door over the weekend.
Saskatchewan cut the film employment tax credit cut in its budget last month to save around 3 million dollars this year.
The petition blitz begins 10:30am
