Many in Swift Current are remembering a strong supporter of local sports and a dear friend.
Earl Monkman passed away suddenly on Saturday. He was known by many as the city's biggest sports fan, and was always a fixture at Broncos, Legionnaires and Indians games, volunteering for many of them.
He was also a passionate boxing coach, and the President of the Swift Current Friendship Centre.
Funeral details have not yet been finalized.
