Shaunavon Mayor, Grant Greenslade, says that Town Council is working on a new plan for addressing run down and dilapidated buildings in the community.

He said, "We have had a lot of complaints about dilapidated buildings, especially on Main Street and we're going to try and address those this year and see if we can't get some of those cleaned up.We want to make it look vibrant and welcoming."

Greenslade says they are looking at a program similar to the Sidewalk Program where the Town does a cost share to remove dilapidated buildings.

It is still in the planning stages at this time.
