For the second time in a week, a lottery winning couple has come from southwestern Saskatchewan.

This time it's Brent and Joan Baron who cashed in a Lotto Max ticket from last spring worth $228,799.70.

The couple from Mankota won on an April 21, 2017 draw, but didn't check their ticket until one morning in January - nine months later.

The winning ticket was purchased at S2M Market Ltd., located in the village of Mankota.

The Mankota residents plan to use their winnings towards paying some bills and renovating their home.
