Rumours of a bed bug infestation at a Maple Creek Motel are just rumours.

There were reports that the Maple Creek Motor Inn had to be shut down because of a bed bug infestation; however, motel employees say the pests were localized to only one room.

They say that room is being treated and the rest of the accomodation is operating as normal.

This year has been a particularly bad year for bed bugs, with a record number of infestations being reported throughout North America.
