There's a byelection in Maple Creek today, as the town looks to replace Mayor Michelle McKenzie's spot on council.

Jill Roy, Shelley Drever, and Tina Cresswell are running for the position.

McKenzie won a byelection on September 12 to fill the role of mayor that was vacated by Barry Rudd.

Cresswell was the only other candidate in that byelection, and received 153 votes to McKenzie's 405.

Town Administrator Diane Moss will declare the winner at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

Barry Elderkin, Ellaine Hawrylak, Micheal Morrow, Kevin Rittinger, and Cara Teichroeb are currently on council.
