The Town of Maple Creek has begun work on updating their Strategic Plan for the community.

The original plan has been in place since  2014, and with a number of changes in the community over the last year, it hasn't been updated.

Maple Creek Town Administrator, Diane Moss, says "It could take up to a year. We're starting  actually right away in February and to get it all completely done it may take nine months to a year."

Moss says the Town will be working with Vadis Consulting Group out of Saskatoon on the updates.
