After his meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Tuesday morning, Premier Scott Moe said he's "disappointed."

"I came here today to hear about what he was going to do differently to support the industries and the people in the province," Moe said, Tuesday. "We need to see some action."

During the meeting, the leaders discussed the carbon tax, equalization payments, and the Trans Mountain pipeline.

Moe has asked for a one-year exemption on carbon tax payments for Saskatchewan's industries.

"We had proposed very publicly, the opportunity to put the carbon taxation policy on pause so that we can move forward to achieve real results in our province and then replicate those results in other areas."

In a press conference after the meeting, Moe stated that the Saskatchewan government will continue efforts at the Supreme Court of Canada to challenge the carbon tax.
