Yesterday the Progressive Conservatives won a majority government in the Ontario election, and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe is looking forward to having Doug Ford join him as one of the country's first ministers.

Both politicians have taken a hard stance against a carbon tax.

Saskatchewan doesn't have one at this point, and Moe's Saskatchewan Party has initiated a court challenge to determine whether the federal government can force the province to adopt one.

Last night over Twitter Moe thanked outgoing Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynn, whose Liberals fell hard losing official party status, for her service.

He also sent out a tweet saying he was looking forward to working with Ford against a federally-imposed carbon tax.

"Congratulations to Ontario Premier-designate @fordnation! Tonight, Saskatchewan has a new ally in our fight against the Trudeau carbon tax. The very first promise in the @OntarioPCParty Election Platform is “Scrap the carbon tax.”"
