Local middle school students are looking back at Canada's history. They've put together a Heritage Fair at the Swift Current Museum.

Director of Education and Public Programs Stephanie Kaduck said it's history's version of a science fair, “It's a national program where students create projects relating to the history of Canada. They have judging at the school level and then regional level and there is the possibility to go onto nationals”

Kaduck adds that there is some impressive work,“Part of the project requirement is that they have to speak about there project. There is a lot of passion about some of the projects.”

You can check it out at the museum until the end of the month.
