Anyone interested in helping out the Swift Current SCPA or any SPCA across the country will have an opportunity today to buy a treat and help animals in need.
As a part of National Cupcake Day, SPCA shelters across the country will be holding a bake sale to raise funds.
Businesses, schools and community groups are all encouraged to take part in the community based bake sale.
With the Swift Current SPCA, Teresa Cole says they are looking forward to the event.
"It's an opportunity for businesses, schools and other organizations to set up an onsite bake sale and sell your baking for donations and at the end of the day we ask locals donate proceeds to the SPCA or Humane Society."
